I recently created a project for the Ink Road Stamps blog using the Majestic AF Background and the WRMK Book Binding Tool. This is actually the first time I used the book binding tool, and thought this could be a fun project.
I started by cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4″ x 6″ (2 of these) I stamped the Ink Road Stamps – Majestic AF Background onto both of these pieces.
Next, I painted the images. Starting with the shadow on the unicorns, then the horns. I used AlteNew watercolors for this.
After my coloring was completed, I cut out a rainbow stack of cardstock for the pages (4″ x 6″).
I bound this all together using the WRMK: Book Binding Tool. For some reason, I decided to go a more complicated stitch, vs starting off nice and easy. Go figure.
I wanted to add a title to my book, so I pulled out my Ink Road Stamps #Beautifulmess stamp set. I stamped the wreath and the phrase from this set. I painted the leaves in using the same color palette I used on the unicorn horn.
And that’s it! This little notebook will make an awesome gift or doodle book on the go!
