Hello! Today I’m sharing another card I created for the Ink Road Stamps design team. This one is a little more detailed and has a little interaction. Sort of! It is a great card to send a friend a little pick-me-up!
For this card I have created a gift card pocket.
I began by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 11″ wide x 4.25″ high. I scored this piece at 1.5″ and 5.5″ (from the left).
Now came the fun part, decorating! Using the Simple Stories: Cozy Days paper, I cut pieces to fit the front and the inside of this card.
3. Stamping on the pattern paper, gave my mugs a little extra flair. Vs just coloring on them. I did this by first stamping the images on white cardstock, and then stamping them on pattern paper. I fussy cut and glued on the section I wanted the pattern paper to show.
4. Because the front of the card does not fully close, I created a belly band to keep it together.
I loved making this card and cannot wait to make more! This will be the perfect pick-me-up card for a friend to include a little gift card treat!
