I was creating an Easter card with the Holly Pixels Studio “Spring Bunnies” stamp set when I saw the carrot image and I had that “ah ha” moment. I wanted to create a card with the carrots in the ground and mixing the carrot colors.
I drew a faint line with my pencil and a t-ruler. I then stamped the carrots with the green tops above the line and the carrots below the line with Ink on 3 – Fadeout Detail Ink. I then stamped the sun above them in the center.
I painted the images with Kuretake Watercolors. I hand painted in the grass and some dirt and sky. I finished the card off with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Easter Party stamp set.
I love how the Ink on 3 Fadeout ink takes on the color of the paint. I also LOVE how universal this stamp set is!!
Have a great week. And I hope you can take a walk around the block. I’m getting cabin fever!
