Clique Kits - August Pep Rally

It has been QUITE some time since I've joined in a Clique Kits Pep Rally! I'm so excited to be in the line-up today!

I have created a simple travelers notebook spread using the August Travelers Notebook kit. I recently have changed my Travelers Notebook documenting style to using a Colorcast Designs album. I love this freedom and the ability to use dimensional elements without worrying if I will be able to add pages to my book (or work towards the center of a notebook style).

What I like about the August Travelers Notebook Kit is that it is "travel" based, but it can definitely be used for so much more. My photo on this spread was from this month when we did an event for the ballet company. I got out of Matt's truck and there was a puddle of glitter. I took a moment to snap the picture.

I used a piece of the 6x6 pattern paper to spread across the two pages. I then layered on some of the tags and ephemera from the kit. Finally, I added the title from the Pretty Little Studio stickers and the alphabet set included. I also typed up some journaling and added it to my page. Something I've been trying to do more often since I am documenting memories and moments.
